This is an introduction to the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo, Platform 9 and 3/4, the Hogwarts Express, etc., which I went to for the first time.

In mid-August 2024, I went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour with my family for the first time. It was a sunny and very hot day.

In June 2023, the Harry Potter studio tour facility "Studio Tour Tokyo" was born using part of the site of the former "Toshimaen" in Nerima Ward, Tokyo. The "Studio Tour Tokyo" is built on a vast site of about 90,000 square meters, the equivalent of two Tokyo Domes, and is equipped with the same movie sets actually designed and created by the creators of the "Harry Potter" movie series, so you can actually experience many scenes from the movie. Since the entire building is air-conditioned, I was able to visit comfortably even on a hot midsummer day, and it was a lot of fun.

After lunch, I headed to "Platform 9 and 3/4". Right in front of me was the impressive Hogwarts Express. I was excited to the max. When I entered the room, I felt like Harry Potter on his way to Hogwarts. The tour then continued to the Ministry of Justice and Diagon Alley. On the way, I was impressed by the well-designed movements of the Creature Creation Lab exhibit, which appears in the film.
