This is an introduction to the "STUDIO SHOP" located within the facility of the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo, which I visited for the first time.

In mid-August 2024, I went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour with my family for the first time. It was a sunny and very hot day.

In June 2023, the "Harry Potter" studio tour facility "Studio Tour Tokyo" was opened using part of the site of the former "Toshimaen" in Nerima Ward, Tokyo. The "Studio Tour Tokyo" is built on a vast site of about 90,000 square meters, the equivalent of two Tokyo Domes, and is equipped with the same movie sets actually designed and created by the creators of the "Harry Potter" movie series, so you can actually experience many scenes from the movie. The entire building is air-conditioned, so we were able to tour comfortably even on a hot midsummer day, which was a lot of fun.

The "Platform 9 3/4 Hogwarts Express", "The Great Hall with Hogwarts faculty", "Gryffindor and Slytherin common rooms", "Diagon Alley", "The huge Ministry of Magic set", and "The Forbidden Forest" were all recreated. It takes time to look around everything.

The Harry Potter studio is located in the spacious gardens of the former Toshimaen site. Upon entering the facility, there is a strict physical check, and after passing through, you are greeted by a spacious lobby. People wearing Hogwarts uniforms and people carrying magic wands walk towards the Great Hall. First, we stopped by the "STUDIO SHOP" to get "Hermione's magic wand". The wands were displayed like in "Ollivander's Shop".
