This is an introduction after entering the ENTRANCE GATE of the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo, which I went to for the first time. The magnificent Great Hall, just like in the movie, was worth seeing.

In mid-August 2024, my family and I went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour for the first time. It was a sunny and very hot day. In June 2023, the Harry Potter studio tour facility "Studio Tour Tokyo" was created using part of the former site of "Toshimaen" in Nerima Ward, Tokyo. Studio Tour Tokyo, which is built on a vast site of about 90,000 square meters, the equivalent of two Tokyo Domes, is equipped with the same movie sets that were actually designed and created by the creators of the Harry Potter movie series, and you can actually experience many of the scenes in the movie. Since the entire building is air-conditioned, we were able to tour comfortably even on a hot midsummer day, which was a lot of fun.

The Hogwarts Express on Platform 9 and 3/4, the Great Hall where the Hogwarts faculty and staff are lined up, the Gryffindor and Slytherin common rooms, Diagon Alley, a huge set of the Ministry of Magic, and the Forbidden Forest were all recreated in real life. It takes time to look around everything.

After entering the ENTRANCE GATE, you are greeted by large photos of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. After receiving an explanation of the tour in the cinema space, you open the large doors and a magnificent Great Hall spreads out before you. This is where various school events, including the Sorting Ceremony, are held, and it is a place that can accommodate all of Hogwarts' professors and students. The actual room can easily accommodate about 300 people. You can take photos of each set and exhibit without any problems, but there are some places where you cannot take photos due to instructions from some staff.
