Today, we bring you a simple yet delicious recipe for Farali Moraiya Khichdi, perfect for fasting days like Navratri or Shravan. This light and healthy Moraiya Khichdi is a must-have during fasting, made with nutritious ingredients that will keep you energized throughout the day.
Ingredients (સામગ્રી):
Moriyo (Samo Rice) / મોરિયો – 1 cup
Potatoes / બટેટા – 1 medium-sized (chopped)
Ginger Green Chilies Paste / આદુ-લીલા મરચાં પેસ્ટ – 1 tablespoon
Cumin Seeds / જીરૂ – 1 tablespoon
Ghee / ઘી – 1 tablespoon
Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) / સિંધી નમક – 1 tablespoon (or as per taste)
Curry Leaves / કડી પત્તા – a few
Peanuts / મગફળી – 2 tablespoons
Cilantro (Coriander) / કોથમીર – for garnish
Water / પાણી – 4 cups
