We went into Santa Cruz to visit Plaza 24 de Septiembre and Catedral Bascilica de San Lorenzo, or what the locals call "La Catedral". We walked around the plaza and then realized that the clock tower wasn't open till 3pm. We decided to walk around the area and eat lunch and come back at 3pm to go up into the clock tower. We had a delicious lunch at a street vendor and then walked up into the tower. We finished up our time in the downtown area having ice cream.
