In August of 2020, for our family vacation we drove to Central Oregon. We stayed in Redmond and we visited many of the beautiful waterfalls and lakes in the surrounding area.

On the drive to Redmond, we stopped at Detroit Lake. After we arrived in Redmond, we went out that first evening and found Cline Falls. The second day we hiked Smith Rock in the morning and then in the evening did the short hike to Steelhead Falls. On the third day, we left in the morning with the end goal of getting to Crater Lake. We stopped at Sparks Lake, Devils Lake, Elk Lake, Cultus Lake, and Crane Prairie Reservoir before arriving at Crater Lake. Crater Lake was as beautiful as ever and we enjoyed visiting it on a beautiful sunny day.
