How are we eating? We don't even know what we eat for our breakfast if someone asks. Why is it? Is it because of memory loss ?. I would say that is because careless. Watching TV and using mobile phones while eating distracts the relationship between the food and us.
While eating, we should definitely avoid distractions like watching TV, using mobile phones, etc. Feel the food. Feel the taste, texture, aroma, etc while eating a bite. Chew food thoroughly as the digestion process starts from our mouth. Make sure that you don't get distracted for 30mins for eating peacefully. Respect the food, show gratitude for the food, appreciate the person who cooks the food. Mindful eating provides many benefits.
