Our ancestors were healthy because of their eating habits. They tend to eat recipes that include Palayasoru, Kambankoozh, Ragi kazhi, Ulundhankazhi, Kanji, etc. Our parents also ate the same at the early periods of their age but after some time their food habits started to change and here comes idli, dosa, pongal, sambar, etc. In our generation, these foods are there, but are we eating those ?... We are not even eating our breakfast, skipping the breakfast is not good for our health. We know but still we are not considering this fact. In this busy life, we start by eating 2 slices of bread which is made from maida. And again we tend to eat samosa, puff as a snack. And for lunch, we eat noodles, pasta, naan, parotta, pizza, burger, etc. Same for dinner too. Eating maida products lead to many disease conditions especially diabetes, obesity, heart diseases, weakens the immunity, high blood pressure, etc. Nowadays the count of hospitals, diseases are more compared to those old periods. While eating them just think of what is going to happen if we consume those maida products. Once in a while is fine but on a regular basis, it is definitely a poison for us. Choose wisely and live healthy.
