Hake in sauce is so delicious that it seems from another planet! My husband orders this recipe every weekend.
Hake is a delicately flavored white fish. The truth is that its price has risen considerably in the last year (in Spain), but frozen hake is still affordable. Do not hesitate to buy frozen hake! Ask if the freezing process has started on the high seas, on the fishing vessel itself, that is the best hake! Avoid processed hake.

You can make the recipe with sliced hake or loins. You can also use this method to cook other white fish of a similar size.

What ingredients do I need to make hake in sauce?
Loins or slices of hake. I recommend two for adults and one for children.
A dozen prawns.
A liter of fish or shellfish broth. (You can buy or do it as indicated in the video)
An onion.
Two cloves of garlic.
Canned roasted peppers (for the recipe is better than fresh pepper).
A tablespoon of flour.
Half a glass of white wine.
A sprig of fresh parsley.
Paprika, salt, pepper and olive oil.
