Learn how to use RELATIVE PATHS with the { LINK } FIELD CODE to embed live Excel spreadsheets in a word documents.,which is pretty cool and useful at work.

Do you want a better work-life balance? THIS HELPED ME SAVE HOURS A DAY!!! AND IT WIILL HELP YOU TOO!!! Trust me, you will thank me!

In this video I will demonstrate how you can use RELATIVE PATHS to create TEMPLATE FOLDERS with many documents talking to each other. All contact information you will will be pulled from bookmarks (see my video Auto Populate Word docs with repeating text in letters & templates using relative paths & FIELDS
   • Auto Populate Word docs with repeatin...  .

At my work, I have to create folders for new clients almost daily. I have to send 8 variations of letters: one initial contact, a MS teams meeting invitation with a request for documents, a decision on the file, a conclusion with a report, etc., and I need to keep dynamic information on the client in a "notes" document I keep updating often. As I do this every day, this method I'll tach you (part 1 + part 2) helped me save weeks in a year.

I can be more productive or slack a bit, take personal development courses I wanted for so long, like project management, power BI, or AI automation, and invest time in my career and still reap the benefits of being productive. All with just a few minutes of editing.

I invite you to be brave, watch this short video, face your fear of the unknown, and create your own template folder. IT WILL TAKE ONLY ABOUT 30m - 1h FOR YOU TO SETUP YOUR BASIC TEMPLATE FOLDER AND TEST IT.

Say goodbye to repetitive work, and create template folders automate letters with this simple method.

You will learn how to automatically add repeated text such as contact names and addresses, in one or many portions of one, or many documents that can talk to each other.

You will then create a template folder and automate work with variations of letters rather than using quick parts and way too many drop downs. This will streamline your work.

You will learn how to insert dynamic objects, like live Excel spreadsheets, into word, using a trick that will not break the paths when you send the template file to someone else or move the "master" template.

You can SHARE the master template folded with your team and maximize productivity. Or... Don't share it with anyone and stay ahead of the pack if you need to show you are worth keeping!

In my case, I create use template folder per client. With this method, all I have to do is type a name, an address, and much of my work is done consistently treating all clients equally.

This helped me SAVE HOURS A DAY, weeks in a year.

This trick will enable you to enter text in one part of the document and automatically update multiple fields elsewhere. You can call bookmarks from a document or import entire sections for a word.document using cross-refe.

Automate and simplify your letter and contract writing process with cross-references.

Say goodbye to the tedious task of copying and pasting repeated text, and say hello to productivity!
