Create a template folder with premade letters to maximize productivity by auto populating word with repeated text, and embed objects like Excel spreadsheets to automate work with relative paths using fields.

In this video, Part 1 of 2, I demonstrate how to create Bookmarks in a master document, a boilerplate reference document that contains information that will be called out by many other documents in Folders and subfolder.

With the master contained in a main folder or root folder and using RELATIVE PATHS, you can copy and paste many folders that can be shared with others within your organization, transported in a thb drive, and save time.

You will learn how to automatically update repeat text or text fields to enter text in the main document that will be called by many variations of letters (approval, rejection, acceptance, invitation, confirmation, etc) só you can save time by standardizing letters to ensure consistency in communications among your clients and stakeholders, to guarantee the same level of service. Useful for lawyers, law enforcers, and to ensure accountability by treating all stakeholders consistently with the same template, and savings to time in requests for freedom of information, access tom information and privacy, etc.

In part one you will learn the shortcut for field codes with CTRL + F9, how to use FILENAME to create a relative path, and how to use INSERT TEXT to call text from a different file, which can be edited 2-way, from the master or child document, or how to call a specific BOOKMARK as cross-references.

Finally, you will update field to refresh the document with the correct paths, no matter where you save your template folder.

Once you learn how to use cross-references to bookmarks anywhere in your computer or hard drive, or in any other computer or hard drive, the possibilities are endless. You can create your own Wikipedia like network of documents to automate work and minimize typing.

Most of your work is comprised of repetitive typing that you wish you had a copy and pasting mechanism or a macro that could automate that part and reduce the probability of errors. Most office jobs are all the same.

Now you can uto repeat text Word to simplify your letters, contracs, cross-reference anything and ensure consistency. Then, automatically update the cross-referenced portions to make text reappear with just a few mouse clicks or ctrl + A (select all), Ctrl + F9!

In the second part of this tutorial you will even embed love excel spreadsheets directly into a word document using LINK with relative paths, which is said it does not work, but, well, it does!

This is almost as good as POWER BI!
