Welcome to Kashmir!

My first time in Kashmir - a trip which has been long pending. I started my trip at Srinagar, the gorgeous capital city. And I loved discovering Srinagar and its many layers. I spent a couple of days here and soon realised that I need more time to explore this place.

I have always wanted to see the Autumn colours and planned my trip to Kashmir during the autumn season which is from mid October to November end. Srinagar will be completely bathed in the colours of red, orange and yellow - and it is a beautiful sight to see.

Srinagar acts as the perfect hub to visit other places such as Gulmarg, Sonmarg and Pahalgam. And due to that most people choose to spend less time here, and use it as the base to visit other places. But there is so much to do in Srinagar!

Have you visited Srinagar? If not, give yourself at least a couple of days here (or more if you can!) and explore this stunning heart of Kashmir!
