Bath culture is huge in Japan. Whether for cleaning or just relaxing, Japan is filled with bath houses, hot springs, and traditional ryokans that provide a relaxing experience for anyone who enjoys soaking away the stress and anxiety of life.

I was lucky enough to spend a weekend at a luxury, traditional hot spring hotel in Nikko, Japan. This was something I'd always wanted to do, and I can safely say it was in my top 5 favorite travel experiences of all time.

In this video, I tour this HUGE room I stayed at, which included a spacious living/bed area, massage chair, and a PRIVATE OUTDOOR HOT SPRING BATH ♨️

Make sure you watch until the end to see the private outdoor hot spring bath. 😉

I can't remember the exact cost of this room, but it was probably around $300 per night. That included access to the hotel's public hot spring baths, as well as dinner (which was nothing short of delicious.)

For more info about this hotel, visit their website (English version): https://www.kinugawa.co.jp/plaza/engl...

When traveling to Japan, you definitely MUST plan a hot spring trip. Your body, mind & soul will thank you.
