In this episode 205 of Walk in the Park, we continue our look at several invasive plant species in the Finger Lakes region of New York. We go to Tutelo Park during Invasive Species Awareness Week in July 2018 where members of the Town of Ithaca Conservation Board teach us about Japanese barberry and give us an update on what's now understood about garlic mustard. Finally, we go to Robert H. Treman State Park where we get an update on state park efforts to educate boaters about the need to "clean, drain, and dry" their boats to reduce the danger of spreading aquatic invasive plants, particularly Hydrilla, to other water bodies after they leave Cayuga Lake.

This episode was recorded on September 19, 2018, official "Talk Like a Pirate Day."
