Brett Cohen, MD, Chief of Bariatrics at Memorial, saw that he could make a positive difference in people’s lives through laparoscopy and weight loss surgery. Using a patient- and family-centered approach, Dr. Cohen and his multidisciplinary team work to involve the whole family unit in a patient’s care, to increase chances for success. Dr. Cohen says his greatest reward is to see the positive way patients lives change after they’ve lost significant amounts of weight.
