The final night of two nights at the Metro in Chicago. What an amazing looking and sounding venue.

We all flew in on Thursday to Chicago, a day in advance of the first show as is safest and customary. We stayed right across from Wrigley Field.

The process of loading in and getting set up is always a beast. Personally, I'm also juggling my day job which adds to my stress levels, but is at least manageable. Sound check was longer than usual as we had a sub lighting director for the next four shows and he has a lot to get set up and some cues to practice.

FACS and Sweet Cobra opened the Friday show. I love FACS and was so stoked to see them. Their drummer is the bee's knees. Sweet Cobra was rockin' as well!

Saturday was FACS again and Rezn, who were so amazing. I love when bands challenge traditional instrumentation and combine sounds together that are net new for the world.

The Friday show went well, but the Saturday show was awesome. I think things clicked better the second night, and we were in our groove.
