We left Boston around 5am for the fairly uneventful and quick drive down to NJ. Thankfully, we did stop at a place on the turnpike that had a Starbucks and a few breakfast places for us to wake up appropriately.

The Starland Ballroom is kind of in the middle of nowhere. But that didn't impact the amazingness of this show, the turnout, nor the fun we had that evening.

Converge and Cave In played with us one last time which was awesome. I really enjoy Converge, but I have a soft spot for Cave In. I spent a lot of time listening to Until Your Heart Stops and Jupiter. It's a really nice blend of heavy and melodic and I think Brodsky is an awesome and incredibly talented front man.

The video from this evening is suboptimal, I know. The stage at this venue is very shallow so I couldn't get my typical shot from the back angle. As a consolation prize for those watching, I did include footage from one side stage gopro that our sound guy Adam Wakeling sets up.

As an additional bonus, this is my first attempt at trying to create a blended audio track, including sound from FOH (direct from the board), two high-quality FOH mics, and the sound from the three GoPros. I'm not unhappy with how it turned out. I'm no sound engineer, but it's at least listenable. :)

Great show, bittersweet to know I'm unlikely to ever play the East Coast again, but glad we were able to go out with a bang.
