Backpacking though a secret forest to camp by a river. In this overnight solo camping adventure I hike through a forgotten pine forest at a North Carolina state park. This backcountry campsite is one of my favorite hidden gems and rarely is it ever reserved. Can you guess what state park I'm at? Camping by the river I enjoy making coffee and dinner by a campfire. Overall not at bad hike at just 8.4 miles round trip.
