Overnight backpacking trip in the White Mountains of New Hampshire to the Lonesome Lake AMC Hut on the Appalachian Trail. We start at Franconia Notch State Park at the Lafayette Place Campground and hike up to the beautiful views of Lonesome Lake. The trees were beautiful the first week of October and the weather perfect as well.
