This video features a hike to the magnificent Chester Lake. The lake is located in the valley below Mount Chester. This is a family and dog friendly hike as the trail is well made, there is no scrambling and the distance and elevation are both moderate. The trailhead is located on Highway 742 (about 90 minutes west of Calgary). Highway 742 is accessible via the town of Canmore and Highway 40 south via Kananaskis. This video is filmed during the famous larch / fall season.
