I hope you play this one. It's a simple, single part song. Normal double C tuning is fine, but I prefer eCGCD.
I think there are many many different lyrics to this, but a common verse is:

Come all ye fair and tender ladies,
Take warning how you court young men,
They're like a star on a summer morning,
First they appear, and then they're gone.

Whilst I should point out they're not all like that, I need to say also what beautiful poetry that is.

In the version collected in Southern Appalachia by Cecil Sharp in the early 1900s, the "little sparrow" verse is actually "little swallow". Not sure which I prefer, maybe the sparrow has more pathos?
