Before we get into the third basic chord shape of Open G tuning, I thought it might be worthwhile to spend a few minutes at the piano again with y’all to help visualize just what it is we’re getting ourselves into.

Today’s subject, intervals! And how the intervals and the major scale conspire to force the seven chords that are naturally in the key to be what they are! It’s really going to help illuminate some of the other things we’ll be getting into as we continue farther along our journey around the fingerboard.

I know, this one’s a bit long… but it’s worth it!
