We had our meeting with the Electric company, and the engineers indicated what we needed. We had to pick up a 400 Amp meter base from the local power company. They indicated a certain design for a rack system to mount the meter base, so I had to get 2" rigid conduit and some 12 gauge struts to mount the meter and disconnects.

We cut the struts to 5' lengths and attached them to the rigid conduit, used a one man auger to drill 2 post holes, and placed the rack in its final location. Attaching the meter base was simple afterwards.
