It's trenching season again! The power company has come out and installed our new 400 amp transformer, and we're now busy digging the underground service to the power meter box. We spent some time clearing out the brush that was in the woods between the meter box and rack system and the new power pole they installed. Using the Husqvarna 450 Rancher and our Massey Ferguson 1835E compact tractor with grapple the area was cleared and we started trenching with the stump bucked which doubles as a pretty decent trencher. It works much better on the skid steer, but we didn't have access to it this week. We might or might not finish our trench with it. But the Massey did a great job.
