Kaiser Permanente has always been at the forefront of healthcare. We have a very strong and simple mission around being able to provide affordable healthcare to all of our communities. We're all fighting for the same cause trying to make everybody healthier and trying to make our hospitals run as smoothly as possible. Every day we come in, we impact the lives of our members to make sure that they're healthy and that they're thriving. This is a really exciting time for Kaiser. Being as Kaiser Permanente has been super rewarding. I absolutely love working with other passionate people - we're all fighting for the same cause. And that's one of the reasons why it's been great to work at Kaiser Permanente. You could work on the clinical side, or you can work in an administrative role, all working for the same mission and for the same cause and purpose. At Kaiser Permanente, we're very involved in the community. I've gotten to participate in tons of events that actually give back to the community. We've participated in food banks, we do rocks, we do runs. And so it doesn't feel like something that's hard to do; the opportunities are always there. What I love about Kaiser Permanente is their involvement in technology. So, it's not just buy a product and go with that; it's always constantly looking at what's out there and what's best. There's definitely a focus on development and coaching. I was blessed to come in with an amazing manager. She told me, "this is not the position you're going to stay in - we're going to grow you, we're going to get you to the position that you want to be in." We spend a lot of time talking about sponsorship and talent development. And I think that overall can help someone who's starting their career excel that career path and eventually get where they want to be. Kaiser Permanente's culture caters to an active lifestyle. I'm really able to organize my schedule in a way that meets obviously my performance goals but also fits within my family commitments. So, I make my schedule work for me. I leave work at 5:15, I get to the gym at 5:30. I miss traffic on my way home, and it works perfectly for me. What I really enjoy about working at Kaiser Permanente is that I find there are very highly successful, motivated people that are working amongst me. It helps me in turn be able to find myself very eager to come to work each day.
