If it wasn't obvious, this was so much fun! I've been pining to get back to the Talyllyn for so long, and this was the event to return to! There's such a homely feel provided by the line, and I'm glad Holly enjoyed seeing the little engines too (means we can go back! :D) Wandering around (and in) Dolgoch falls, driving Douglas, travelling in the brake coach on 1&2's double header and seeing all engines cavalcade together, what was there not to enjoy? Massive thanks in order to the Talyllyn team for being so welcoming and putting on such a spectacular event. Will be back volunteering when and if I can!
