The Talyllyn Railway's Awdry weekend of 22nd-23rd July 2023 saw Rock N' Roll star Duncan, maintenance master Rusty, Mabel and Fred visit from Sodor from the Skarloey Railway. There was an exhibition of TV props, RWS illustrations and archive info from the BBC 1953 Sad Story of Henry. Later, an evening with memories from Rev.W.Awdry's daughter and letters read by Tim Dunn. Outside, Duncan took the Pop Special and the Skarloey photo charter, and we captured much of this on the live broadcast throughout the event. I was honoured to be asked to host the livestream, and this video tells you how everything went down from my side of things!
