I'm excited this morning because in my last video I took a chance and decided to continue working on paintings that I already liked a lot. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. This time it was great and I'm very happy with the results.

Making marks, different marks, it's like language; each saying something different. Some are loud, some are soft, some are X's, some are O's, short, long, the list goes on. We've been making marks for a very long time and these are like little ambient sounds on the painting. So that's all I'm going to do today, I'm going back into these paintings. If they're a little too far on the cool side, I want to come back in with some warm colors and balance the lines. It'll be interesting to see what they look like after the paint has dried.
