The 1st and 2nd of January saw Black 5 45407 on steam service trains as it had arrived on the Lancs with 44871 on 31st December 2016. Knowing she'd be working meant I had to go and red pen her since it was 6 years since I've last rode a Black 5.

This videos covers it's first trip to Heywood from Rawtenstall and it's final trip to Rawtenstall.

The cylinder cock was stuck for the first part making the Black 5 sound odd with only 3 normal chuffs.
