The 3rd - 5th March 2017 saw the KWVR hold its annual spring steam gala this time featuring 3 guests. A 4th was planned which was 45407 but it sadly failed before its journey to the KWVR. The guests were Hughes Fowler Crab 13065 from the East Lancs, Thompson B1 61264 from the North York Moors and Stanier Black 5 45212 which the day before had a successful mainline test run.
