This is how I lowered my wife's Tahoe. I posted a video on free travel mod but somehow it was deleted. I will repost soon. The free travel mod needs to be done if dropping more than 3". This is not a recommend amount of drop on a 4WD. I have never had any issues. I have done this multiple times. This is my method of lowering. Do this at your own risk.
