This is how I cut the bump stop out of my wife's Tahoe before lowering. This will work on Tahoe Yukon and Escalade. This is required if lowering 4" or more. I really think you need to do this for 3" or more. Do this at your own risk. Be careful around the gas tank when cutting. I used a scrap piece of metal to help shield the tank from sparks.
