Painful IT band?! 😣

One of the contributors to IT band pain is actually how well your hips are able to move.

Basically your IT band can compensate for your glutes (butt muscles) which means your glute muscles aren’t able to do their job 😞

This can lead to the IT band feeling irritated, painful and overworked ☝🏽

Focusing on regaining good hip posture to allow muscles to work how they should can be a great place to start πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

The good thing is, these moves shouldn’t hurt or aggravate your IT band βœ…

Try for 10-20 receptions of each movement focusing on QUALITY, making sure to find a good position for the hips and spine ☝🏽

Increase the repetitions as you’re able to in order to rest both core stability and endurance 😁

For the bridge with your feet elevated, really focus on the contraction in your hamstrings, the muscles in the back of your leg behind your thigh πŸ”₯

Remember, consistency is KEY πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Every other day or every day if possible, trying at least one of these moves (as long as they feel okay) can be really powerful πŸ’ͺ🏽
