Hi fam ~ ◡̈ I hope everyone is doing well :''') This time around, I got the honor of worshipping with a dear brother of mine, Caleb Yun. Please see his devo below, and I hope the Holy Spirit speaks to you through it!:

Hi friends thank you for joining us in just resting in the Lords presence and conversing with him, spending time with him because he wants to be with us.

To be completely honest when Jeeye told me I had to put a devo/little remark for this set i didn’t really know what to put but this scripture came to mind:

Isaiah 43: 1-3

“But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Gods been deconstructing a lot of who I am to reveal a lot of icky and not so good things about myself. I’m very sinful and very undeserving of love. But the Lords purpose in taking me through this period of my life is not to put me down to the floor utterly and leave it at that but rather, to remind me I’m nothing without the blood of Jesus. Understanding and being aware of how dirty and terrible I am makes His love become all the more sweeter and overwhelming. Even though I am so undeserving of such a love that he gives so freely, Praise God truly that His love for me isn’t dependent on my merit and is purely unconditional.

Just like the passage states, the Lord is still calling me by name despite how wretched I am and He still walks with me through thick and thin because He is my Lord and my savior who truly loves me. From the most sincere place from my heart, I want to encourage anyone out there who might come across this set that The Lord is telling you even in sanctification, do not tunnel vision on your lack, your short comings, your sin, but turn your eyes to the cross and receive his love to be set free from the bondage of sin. Don’t give up on the love of Christ because he’s never given up on you and he never will.
