I have had a little bit of a break after finishing the series on the Central Bay and now I am starting on the Northern Moreton Bay series.
I will just start by saying that I have not fished this area of the bay as extensively as I have the central area, but I should be able to offer a few spots.
What did I forget to say in this video? I mentioned that the unexploded ordinance is buried in the sand, meaning that it is most likely okay to fish there with a line. What I didn't point out is that an anchor can bury itself quite deep in mud or sand so anchoring in these areas may not be safe. Personally, I would play it safe and not anchor in these areas.
This episode is a bit heavier on the history of the region than I initially intended. I am fascinated by history and although I try not to overdo it, sometimes I can get a bit carried away. There is so much to say about the past that I find it difficult to compress it into a sentence or two for the videos. Sometimes the most interesting parts have to be left out so I don’t drone on too long about it. I hope you do not find it too boring.
