Beau was last seen waiting on Gabby for several hours as he rested in the nest on Tuesday Sept 17th. The visitor with the injured feet came to the nest tree late on Tuesday evening and spent the night. He was with Gabby on Wednesday and again today Thursday Sept 19th (both Morning & Evening). He is spending Thursday night with Gabby so far.

This coverage begins in the morning on Thursday Sept 19th with both Gabby and V perched in the nest tree after spending the night together. Cam ops zoomed in on his feet - they do seem a bit better. V will eventually fly and Gabby stays for a few hours before flying herself. V came back a few times during the day.

Gabby flies in to the nest tree in the evening at dusk with the last rays of the sun highlighting her beautiful face. The visitor is perched below the nest. When Gabby drops to the nest, guess who joins her? V and Gabby will do some aerating of the nest and moving a stick. Gabby was very calm and did not show any nippy behavior tonight with V. After a few minutes, V flew to LOP and Gabby went up sunset branch. Tonight they both are perched on the Wallenda.

Gabby clearly is comfortable & likes being around this visitor. Nestorations are a bonding behavior between the eagles - we will wait & watch what happens between them. I do not think Beau is out of picture. Eagles fight for nests, territory and mates so that is something we don't want to see between V and Beau but could happen. Thank you for watching!
