'Amazing Grace' was written by John Newton. His journey from that of a slave-trader to becoming a Anglican minister who inspired and encouraged William Wilberforce (who fought to abolish the slave trade in England) is a testament to the transforming power of the grace of God.

'Amazing Grace' was written to illustrate a sermon on New Year's Day of 1773 and first published in 1779. It seems appropriate that the first harp video I share at the start of 2024 (251 years later) is this timeless hymn whose words still inspire many around the world today.
