As we were stuck in New South Wales due to COVID travel restrictions, we were able to explore the coast of NSW and drove from Sydney to Byron Bay and back. Stopped in a couple of beautiful spots on the way.
Some people asked me about our itinerary, so here it is⬇️⬇️⬇️ save a list for your future trip around NSW ‼️

1️⃣Seal rocks
📍stayed at Reflections holiday park
❇️To see: number one beach ( sunrise), boat beach ( May see dolphins), walk to the sugarloaf point lighthouse (May spot whales), walk down to the lighthouse beach

➡️Towards Nambucca heads go through the coast thru blues beach, boomerang beach, Forster.
📌Then stop at Port Macquarie ( maybe even at the koala hospital for a quick tour)

2️⃣Nambucca heads
📍stayed at Ingenia holidays white albatross
❇️To see: v-wall, walk on the Shelly beach, rotary lookout

⬇️On the way to Byron can stop at
❗️Boambee headland lookout
❗️Coffs Harbour (go to the Muttonbird island)

3️⃣Byron bay
♦️visit Cape Byron and Byron lighthouse: one of the most popular spot in Byron. Walk around, there are some coastal walks that lead to Cape Byron, watch migrating whales 🐋 if you are lucky from the cape and catch a beautiful sunset maybe with a picnic and a few drinks 🥂😋 the views are stunning 🌅

☕️ have a delicious coffee at one of the numerous coffee shops in Byron during the day, dinner at “The Balcony” and 🥂drinks at “The Bolt hole”, places are pumping!!!

🔸 avoid the crowd of the main beach and walk along Tallow beach with no one around! Enjoy the beauty and serenity of the place ☮️💟💜

❇️ kayak with 🐬 dolphins and maybe 🐳 whales( we were not lucky because of the weather, but we heard that sometimes there are lots of them around you, even turtles 🐢😍)

💠 spend half a day at “The Farm” walking around and exploring the area, having a delicious lunch at “three blue ducks”, and picking macadamia nuts and pecans at the orchard!
🔹 hike to minyon waterfalls (1h away from Byron)
🔸also plenty of surfing, snorkelling and diving spots!!!
It’s like a little copy of Bali 💖

4️⃣Moonee beach
📍Stay at the tiny house Reflections holiday park
❇️ To see: Walk to the green bluff and sapphire beach, might catch a pod of dolphins 🐬 playing in the waves 👌

5️⃣Diamond head (crowdy national park)
📍Stay at Diamond head campground ⛺️
The wildest experience camping with kangaroos, bonfire 🔥 and Milky Way ⭐️
❇️To see: Mermaid lookout, Dunbogan beach
