Australian East coast road trip, Sydney, Blue Mountains, Ku-ring-gai chase national park, Port Stephens, Port Macquarie, Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Brisbane.
We hired a car and did some road trips around Sydney and then road tripped up to Brisbane. Along the way we went sand boarding, surfed and it was also my birthday! Hope you enjoy the video and here’s some ideas for things you can do around Sydney and also places to visit when heading up to Brisbane and Gold Coast.
Around Sydney:
Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park
Cost is $12 per vehicle per day
* Elvina Trail Head
* Elvina Waterfall
* Aboriginal Art/ Conservation Area
* West Head Beach
* West Head Lookout
Blue Mountains National Park:
Free to enter but some places you had to pay to park
* Katoomba- Scenic world- quite expensive and you could have just walked to see most of the things anyway….
* Minnehaha Falls

Road Trip:Sydney to Brisbane
Day 1: Sydney to Port Stephens
- Long Jetty
- Lunch stop (can’t remember the name!)
Day 2:
- Anna Bay- Sandboarding
- Beach- snorkelling- fly point aquatic reserve
Day 3: Port Stephens to Port Macquarie
- Koala hospital
- Birthday bbq and ice cream cake
Day 4: Port Macquarie to Byron Bay
- Coffs harbour market
- Sunset Byron Bay
Day 5- Byron Bay to Gold Coast- surfers paradise
