This week’s recipe we are taking inspiration from Mark Williams and Swine Life BBQ and giving you all Breakfast Style Ribs! We started with some baby back ribs and got the membranes pulled off and trimmed any hanging or thin meat. We used orange juice for our binder and then seasoned them with Killer Hogs Country Sausage Seasoning Mild. Let them sit for about 30 min while you get your grill going. We used our Rec Tec pellet grill for this but any grill will work. Fire your pit up to 275* and get those ribs on. After 2 hours, we started spritzing with orange juice. We did this every hour until the ribs were done. We cooked them unwrapped the entire time and it took around 5 hours. Once the ribs were tender, approx 202 internal, we let them rest on the counter for about 20 min. Glaze them with a little maple syrup and return to the pit for 10-15 min. Once done, you’ve got yourself the perfect slab of sweet and savory ribs.
