দেবী কালিকাকে বাঙালি কালো অথবা গাঢ় নীল রঙে দেখতেই অভ্যস্ত। ব্যতিক্রম কেবল একটি ক্ষেত্রে। হুগলি জেলার অন্তর্গত রাজবলহাটে দেবী রাজবল্লভী মন্দির (Rajballavi Devi of Rajbalhat)। অদ্ভুত রূপ এই মন্দিরের মাতৃ বিগ্রহের। দেবীর বর্ণ ধবধবে সাদা; তাঁর ডান পা বিরূপাক্ষ শিবের মাথায় আর বাঁ পা শায়িত মহাকাল ভৈরবের বুকে। দেবী রাজবল্লভী দ্বিভূজা। তাঁর ডান হাতে একটি ছুরি আর বাঁ হাতে ধরা সিঁদুরের পাত্র। কটিদেশে ছোট ছোট হাতের কোমরবন্ধ, গলায় নরমুণ্ডের মালা। সব মিলিয়ে দেবী কালিকার সঙ্গে রাজবল্লভীর অনেক সাদৃশ্য। তবে গায়ের রং সাদা অর্থাৎ শ্বেত হওয়ার কারণে তাঁকে “শ্বেতকালী” নামে ডাকা হয়ে থাকে। এই মায়ের মন্দির ৮০০ বছর পুরোনো। চলুন আজ আমার ভিডিওর মাধ্যমে আপনাদের ঘুরিয়ে নিয়ে আসি এই পূণ্য স্থান থেকে।আশাকরি ভিডিওটা আপনাদের ভালো লাগবে। ভিডিওটা ভালো লাগলে একটা লাইক অতি অবশ্যই দেবেন।পুরো ভিডিওটা দেখবেন তাহলে অনেক কিছু জানতে পারবেন। #Bong_Ranajit চ্যানেল এর পক্ষ থেকে আপনাদেরকে স্বাগত জানাই। এই ধরনের বেড়াতে যাওয়ার নতুন নতুন ভিডিও পেতে চ্যানেলটিকে সাবস্ক্রাইব করুন আর পাশে থাকা বেল আইকনটি ক্লিক করে দিন,যাতে করে আমার পরবর্তী ভিডিও-র নোটিফিকেশান সবার আগে আপনার কাছে পৌঁছে যায় । ধন্যবাদ।

"Char chak, chodda para, tin ghat; ei neye Rajbalhat" (four crossing, fourteen localities and three bathing areas; consists of Rajbalhat) goes an old saying. Today Rajbalhat is a non descriptive town in the Jangipara block of Hooghly district but its history dates back to the 16th century when it was the capital of the Bhursut (Bhurishrestha) Empire. The 16th century temple housing the idol of Devi Rajballavi, after whom Rajbalhat is named, can still be seen to this day but sadly the temple has been renovated several times and in the process wiping out centuries of history. The strange idol of Rajballavi, about six feet in height, is white in colour and his left leg rests on the head of seated Birupakha Mhadev and right leg rest on the chest of Mahakal Bhairab. The right hand has a dagger while the left a sindoor case.
