Hi guys!
On October 7, 2023 Tyler and I hiked the Grand Canyon Rim to River trail. This is something that I had dreamed of doing for a long time and I finally felt like we possibly had the fitness to tackle it. The weather was perfect and I would highly recommend going at the beginning of October.

Other details that may be important for the hike:
We parked at the Bright Angel trailhead and shuttled to the south Kaibab trailhead which is where we began. Only the shuttle can get to the south Kaibab trailhead. All shuttle information can be found on the NPS website. We hiked down south Kaibab and up Bright Angel Trail. It took us from 8am-8pm. We stayed at OYO Hotel and Casino in Vegas and the Grand Canyon Hotel in Williams AZ. We flew in/ out of LAS though there are closer airports to the Grand Canyon. This was just the cheapest for us with the rental car options as well. We used Turo for our rental car service.
