My Rim to Rim to Rim hike was cut short after a gorgeous 24.2 miles. Turning around saved my life. I had Rhabdomyolysis, though I wouldn't know it until after an 80 mile ambulance ride from the North Rim, and a stay at the Kane County Hospital in Kanab, UT.
