Wow! We had so much fun filming this Granada food tour! Granada Spain is an amazing destination for food and wine lovers. We eat our way around the town, looking for local Spanish dishes and enjoying the amazing vibe in Granada!

We start our Granada Food Tour with a traditional Spanish breakfast at Bar Macondo Granada.
Named after the fictional town in Columbian novelist Gabriel Carcia Marquez's classic book One Hundred Years of Solitude this place is a classic.
Great coffee, delicious breakfast toasts, all named after characters in the books.

We have lunch in Ogijares, the little town we stayed in just outside of Granada. We found a classic Spanish Tavern style lunch at Restaurante El Cantero. We tried Migas and a hearty potato stew. Careful when using google translate! I drastically mistranslate a word and end up ordering something I wouldn't have ordered otherwise...cuttlefish! We enjoy garlicky buttery pork, Flan de Queso (cheese flan) and Arroz con Leche, a creamy Spanish rice pudding.

Granada is Spain's capital of free tapas (stay tuned for an upcoming tapas tour!) and we were so happy to get a free snack of olives, pate and toasts with a glass of wine at Los Manueles

100% if you're in Granada check out one of our faves, La Bodega de Antonio. Another classic Spanish tavern style meal that was one of the best in memory. Don't miss the classic Spanish dish Rabo de Toro, a hearty bull's tail stew. We ordered way too much food here but it was all so good! Fried anchovies, paella and salad. Somehow we still found room for desserts of leche frita (fried milk) and tarta de queso (insanely yummy Spanish cheesecake.)

Don't forget sweets! We stop at Pasteleria el Sol for Andulusia's famous Pionono pastries and have a sugary batata and eclair.
