On this Cambodian food tour I am making around the area I am staying in. Boeng Snor. A little surprised how quiet this area is. Unlike anything I have experienced anywhere near a major city in SE Asia. Good for me I guess as I have a lot of really good food in this area.

I start this off with what I thought was a Siem Reap specialty. Turns out than Nam Bon Chok is nothing more than Khmer noodles. Not that it's bad thing. It was my first time with them and they are delicious. I also try out a sun-dried buffalo meat here

Just down the road from there, I happened upon a sugar cane juice stand and Cambodia's version of Banh Mi called Num Pang. Delicious Crab and chicken floss sandwich and an always refreshing sugar cane juice. The google map link does not match the signage in the video but I assure you this is the location

Next, I head for some western food. Something I don't do often, but if there is one thing I do still get cravings for it's a good burger. I found just that at Shakey's Wings and American Pub. Run by a husband (American) and wife (Khmer) team they make excellent food. Their burger jumps into my top 5 favourites in the world. They aren't done there though. Matt and Pia also make 51 flavours of American style chicken wings. They make all of their own sauces and they make several that are hot enough to burn your eyeballs off.

I finish of at Hi Five. A Cambosian BBQ joint where I may have just eaten the best marinated and grilled steak I have ever had. I also try their fried eel, fish meatballs and a seafood noodle dish that I can't remember the name of. Awesome location and fantastic food to be found here.
