So this would be the last, and final 612 in Mt Vernon that hasn't been recorded. It might look a little rough, but I think it's their healthiest one. It's located at Veterans Memorial Park near the intersection of Forest and 26TH. Unfortunately, there were barely any places to park without either shooting against the sun or drawing too much attention. Being July 4TH when this was recorded, I decided to just set up against the sun. Surprisingly, the shot didn't look bad.

Being the holiday, there were high doubts whether or not this siren was going to sound. So, I made plans to visit a few places even if it didn't. But as 10AM came around, the tones came through, and this siren wound up to life. A different dispatcher must've been on duty too. There was no voice portion, as usual, and the alert cycle was tested twice. Or maybe they just sent out a second activation tone to ensure all sirens were sounding. Heck, maybe the 612 by the station failed. But luckily, this one worked which was great considering the fails I encountered around this time.
