I've always wanted to film in Nicholasville, since nobody has seemed to have filmed it before (minus the EMA director a few years ago). I finally got the opportunity once a new testing schedule was put out by the EMA's Facebook page.

Jessamine county used to have a system of Whelen Vortexes, but they were replaced by Sentry 14V-Bs in early 2024 due to their age. The testing schedule wasn't known at the time, although I did have plans to film it during the annual tornado drill before the system was replaced. Jessamine county's Sentrys are painted bright red, even if it's hard to see here with my camera facing the sun.

Jessamine county tests on the first Wednesday of the month at 12:00 noon, weather permitting.
