INSTANT POT CHOLE | Chana Masala | Indian Chickpea Curry - Meal Prep for Beginners
Easy tasty Indian Style High Protein Rich Diet. Include this in your meal plan. I have included tips for meal prep. This will help to put together easily during busy days. Have it with Naan, Roti, Paratha, Bread or Rice. You may substitute with cauliflower rice for low carb diet & weight loss diet. Great for beginners who are learning to cook.

How to make Chole in Instant Pot:
Method 1 - Boil soaked chickpeas by itself in the Instant Pot. Pressure cook on high for 20 min. Let the pressure release naturally. Prepare the masala separately. You can store it in the fridge or freezer as part of your meal prep and combine both together for later use.

Method 2 - Make the Masala in the Instant Pot. Add soaked chickpeas and pressure cook on high for 40 min. Let the pressure release naturally. Serve it hot or store it in the fridge.

Recipe for Chole / Chana Masala / Chickpea Curry
Protein Rich Indian Meal
Ingredients:
Pressure Cook Chickpeas
2 cups dried chickpeas
Pink Himalayan Rock Salt
1/4th tsp Turmeric powder
1 medium stick cinnamon
1 Black Cardamom (Badi Elaichi)

Chole Masala:
2 large onion
10 garlic
1 inch ginger
2 green chilies
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp cumin seeds
2 whole cloves
1 string curry leaves
2 tomatoes
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp chana masala (MDH Brand from Indian Store)
Half tsp sambar powder
Salt to taste
1/4th tsp pomegranate powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 small bunch cilantro or coriander leaves
