In this video I show how to make mini hand pies using a 21 oz can of apple pie filling and 1 can of big biscuits 16.3 oz. Not flaky layers. I also demonstrate how to package and freeze the remaining biscuits to be enjoyed at a later time. In the video, I demonstrate how to bake these biscuit pies raw at room temp and how to bake them from frozen.
Bake these pies for 10 minutes in a 375゚ oven.
Bake the frozen biscuits in a 375-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

What is an egg wash?
An egg wash is beaten eggs, sometimes mixed with another liquid such as water or milk, which is brushed onto the surface of a pastry before baking.
What Is Egg Wash Used For?
When brushed onto a pastry dough, egg wash is going to provide three things: shine, color, and structure. You know that perfectly golden-brown sheen you love on dinner rolls? We have egg wash to thank for that.

But egg wash is good for more than just aesthetics. It can also be used as a sort of glue to help attach two edges of pastry together. Plus, it can help toppings like powder sugar stick to your dishes. Take an extra two seconds to apply egg wash to all your pastry dough and you'll always be happy with the result.
