Currently, ammonia’s primary use is for the manufacturing of fertilizers. Nitrate-based fertilizers are especially popular in Europe, and are regarded as low-hanging fruit for decarbonization.

To explore the possbility for renewable fertilizer in Europe, we welcome Birgitte Holter (Head of Yara Green and Low carbon fertilizer Solutions, Yara) & Theo Paquet (Regulatory and Green Ammonia Officer, Fertilizers Europe) will be joined in conversation by AEA Technology Manager Kevin Rouwenhorst.
